Edwards is a very athletically gifted child. He did not have adult presence in his life since the age of 13; was brought up by the older siblings and treated like a baby in the family (which he was). he is aware of his shortcomings and admits that he only cares about basketball and winning and that he never grew up...
he will mature eventually. his heart is in the right place.

The series is produced by Uninterrupted, a media production company founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter. Omaha Productions (Paton Manning) and Higher Ground Productions (the Obamas) also helped produce Starting 5. So Lebron personally did not produce (it is too much work :) but his company did, so I am sure he had a say in it. Maybe favorite is too strong a word, but the selection is not surprising to me.
