I always remember a shop assistant bending down on a floor when I was trying on these boots, and he would say “Me and a bunch of guys I know, we’re rehearsing. We want to be a band and do well.”
Of course, I was a little patronizing and was like “Well, good luck with that”, never thinking that the boot salesman at one day would actually become one of the best rock stars of all time."
