В сегодняшней газете очередная новость - тарифы на воду и канализацию в нашем городе повышены на 12%. В связи с этим приняты ответные превентивные меры:
1. воду в унитазе будем спускать только после "по-большому".
2. по мере возможности стараться отправлять свои естественные (а также и не) надобности на работе, дома, в ресторанах, музеях, других общественных местах.
3. душ принимать исключительно в клубе после занятий спортом. Дома прием душа ограничить. Прием ванн отменить как класс.
4. воду для питья набирать на работе в бутылки для питья и приносить домой.
5. стирку относить родителям, которые не платят за воду по месту своего проживания.
6. старшую дочь в дом не пускать, либо пускать, но только чистую после душа и бритья ног.
7. бритье морды перенести на работу или в клуб.
8. супы отменить, только сухая еда.
9. влажная уборка дома отменяется, переходим на вытирание пыли спецсалфетками и на обработку пола Нафаней.

Interestingly enough, it was your MA congressmen who had presided over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and told everyone that everything was just great. By the way, he is back to his old tricks (no pun intended) "strongly encouraging" the banks to issue affordable loans.

However, let's not go there. So that you know, when the government wants to collect money in times of crisis, they normally go for the income tax increase (which also seems like a great way to do a little wealth re-distribution). The tax on water is most likely caused by the environmentalists' agenda. By the way, have you heard the one about the light bulbs?

it's a usage billing, nothing to do with a tax. And every town decides for themselves.

An you are correct - the idea about my Barny Frank being responsible for the world crisis is really funny. Not to mention that he didn't manage these two and didn't direct them with numbers, regulations, rules, decisions... Please, don't blame "стрелочник", let's get serious here. People leading banks wanted sales, profit, volume, polish reports, etc. These were their responsibilities to check on creditors, decide on loans and not being greedy so they pave their own path on top. Don't give me these anecdotes about Clinton and Frank please.
