Спешу поздравить всех лесбиянок с очень обнадеживающей новостью - на днях ученым удалось создать (родить? сгенерировать? вывести?) мышь без участия мужских хромосом. И хотя в ближайшем будущем ученые не обещают аналогичных побед на человеческом фронте, мы-то знаем - их успехи не за горами! Что в переводе значит - скоро лесбийские пары смогут рожать своих собственных детей безо всякого участия этих ненавистных мужчин!

Гомосексуалистов пока порадовать нечем, поэтому на их месте я бы подал на этих ученых в Международный Верховный Суд по поводу дискриминации их по половому признаку!

а я что, я ничё... я, между прочим, за усыновление/удочерение гомо-парами...но ведь что бы человек появился на свет (ну или хотя бы зачался) нужны представители обоих полов...ну или я чего-то не понимаю.

Зaчем? В той стaтье кaк рaз говорится, что для зaчaтия можно использовaть две женские клетки.

По поводу того, кaк они тaкого ребенкa будут воспитывaть, и тут и в других местaх постоянно идут дискуссии. Хоть убей, не вижу особой рaзницы между рaзнополыми.

tima приводил aргумент, что детей могут дрaзнить, но что ж это зa aргумент тaкой? Вот детей tima могут дрaзнить, потому что родители с aкцентом смешным рaзговaривaют или еще почему.. или если они переедут тудa, где все только черные живут, a они белые. И что теперь, не иметь детей потому что их могут дрaзнить?

2 parents are better than one and 2 heterosexual parents are better than 2 homosexual parents. Do you have kids? Do you have close friends with kids?

What would 2 men tell their daughter about menstrual cycle, pubic hair, etc.?

What would 2 moms tell their 4-year-old son about erections?

How would 2 moms show their 2 year-olds how to urinate?

Look, you can make all the theories you want. But the practical truth is different from the theory.

No to having kids, yes to having friends with kids. As to heterosexual couples -- I ask you again -- "why"?

Err.. same thing a woman would? I mean why wouldn't they? Most men I know are very well versed in such things and would know how to advise a girl about it, including to how to use tampons (not that it's particularly a rocket science).

Once again, same thing a man would -- why not? Are you particularly embarassed talking about erections? I'm not.

Same way other mothers currently do. I've never heard of it being a problem. It's not exactly something that needs to be studied for too long.

Exactly -- and that applies far more to your words, than to mine. Since single moms have been doing a perfectly adequate job of raising boys, I don't see what the issue would be with it being two moms. Certainly even in a heterosexual parent couple, a woman often ends up being the one to show a child how to urinate, etc.. just like it might happen that dad's the only one around when girl's first periods start. No big deal. really.
