WE won 4 rings since 1996, been to 5 WS in 8 years etc, etc ...
YOU won 1 ( O-N-E ) ring since freaking russian revolution :)))
well, stuff happens so to speak, but ... can't help myself but remind you ... game 7 of ALCS, 8th inning, Sox leading 5:2, Pedro on the mound, but you knew IT WAS COMING.
What makes you think it will be different this October? Was the Nation finally exorcised?
don't you read what I say - Pedro shouldn't have been there even at the beginnig of 7 and you were squared for sure. One inning for Embree, one for Timplin and you were done. Say a big "THANK" to The Manager of ours who is nowhere near Major Leage anymore. The team survived though and you see there results this year.
Not to mention a difference in a payroll. Not to mention her znaet skol'ko sold outs in Fenway in a row - Boston still loves Red Sox and belives. Nothings coming. Forget about it, nothings coming. And Yankees still suck!
P.S. Not to mention 35 bucks beer in Bronx.
P.P.S. BTW. Big part of our losses - people love to Sox in Boston. They just don't accept a break to rebuild the team, they want good results EVERY year. Anyway - it's going to be interesting this year again.
all this woulda, shoulda, coulda ... you know, it's a bull crap. At the end ...
and about the payroll, please, you guys have 120mil. payroll which second only to Yanks, and nobody prohibits your owner to spend as much money as Mr.Steinbrenner does, and don't tell me you can't. And Florida's payroll was what? 4 times less and they managed to win somehow( Jeff Weaver shouldn't br anywhere near this mounf :((( ... )
I agree, it will be fun this year, as it was last, year and 3 years ago etc. :)
