билеты на Барбару Страйзанд в бостонский "дворец спорта" есть спокойно на тикетмастере. Даже по цене 100 за штуку. Про какие 2000 говорили те, "кто все знают, все умеют, такие же как мы, только без хвоста" мне неведомо.

In the beginning the tickets were very expensive as it was yet another Farewell Tour. However, it was selling slow - maybe because that everyone had already attended 1-2 of her preious farewell tours.

I think those are probably some last-minute last-row leftover tickets

By the way, it's Barbra, not Barbara

Yes, those were leftovers. There are too many rich Jews and democrats in Boston who love her.
BTW, there no $100 tickets left, and they were somewhere in Alaska of Boston's Fleet Center.

And, also, Barbara shortened her first name to Barbra in 1960, so both ways are fine. :-)
